Dropped in for cold drinks here after walking around these ancient ruins which were incredible. They have seats on the food top as well as indoors. It’s a great little cafe and the inn looks very nice for accommodation. Friendly staff.

The stay was exceptional! Everything was perfect – from the location and service to the atmosphere. We were greeted with a welcome drink, and dinner was even ordered for us, which we enjoyed on the beautiful terrace. The hotel's location among the ruins is truly special and unique. The hotel is furnished with great attention to detail and is very respectful of its surroundings and history.

If you're looking for a unique and authentic stay, look no further, Bait Al Sabah is by far one of the best stays we had in all of our travels. Located close to the base of Jebel al Akhdar, the hotel is cozy, picturesque and has many amazing things to enjoy. From the moment you walk to the hotel you are greeted by the lovely cats (an extra for cat lovers) and are greeted warmly by the receptionist. The personnel that works both at the receptionist and at the cafe are genuinely nice, warm people who truly want to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The hotel has several rooms so make sure to reserve, because a walk-in could mean you will be disappointed and the hotel is fully booked. The hotel itself is as if you stepped into a Disney cartoon and words/pictures don't do it justice. The rooms look magnificent and the attention to details is amazing and we would have loved to stay here 2 nights. Another thing that needs praise is the excellent cafe upstairs. You have an amazing view and just sitting there on the terrace feels relaxing and is truly enjoyable and you can truly unwind there. The cafe has many excellent choices regarding drinks and I loved every and each drink I got from there and I recommend the breakfast as well, they work together with an outside restaurant who delivers the food and this was delicious. All in all one of the best hotels/experiences we had in Oman and definitely worth a visit.

What a delightful inn surrounded by rich history in a quaint town. Rooms were nicely appointed and provided a great backdrop for a great night’s sleep. If you are looking for a uniform ‘chain’ hotel, this is not it. If you are looking for a unique travel destination, this is it!! Staff was very attentive and brought out suitcases up a narrow staircase for us. Coffee shop and breakfast were fantastic. Highly recommend.

I have only experienced the cafe. Which is very intriguing indeed. You arrived through a mud home and climp tiny stairs leeding to a cafe on the top of the house which is open to visitors. The house display the rooms graceful and informative. The cafe has four sitting zones each decorated with eye catching artifacts. The intimate and cozy spaces makes you fall in love thousand of times.
