This place is in the heart of Nizwa located in Main Souk area and has retained the Old school charm of the city. The rooms are decorated with authentic interiors local to the area.. the service is amazing.. Hussain was attending to us and was very very helpful with service and with his local suggestions on what to eat and where to go.. he made our stay even more worthwhile…. Totally recommend this place ..
Stayed here for several nights, only 2 words necessary: extraordinary amazing I never experienced such great hospitality, incredibly friendly, helpful and polite staff members. It felt like home, was sad to leave ... Great location in the heart of the city, 5 minutes walking distance to Fort, old city wall and Souq. The house is an original very old building with so much charm and warmth. Only few rooms, easily booked out. I hope to return next year... inshallah
I really enjoyed my stay in Nizwa. The hotel is in an excellent location, perfect for exploring the city. It’s a beautiful traditional house with lovely decoration that gives it a unique charm. My room was comfortable with a very cozy bed, which made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They also provided plenty of helpful information and tips, which really helped me make the most of my trip. The room itself was quite small, but this was clear from the photos and is expected in a traditional house like this. For me, it added to the authentic experience rather than being a drawback. One thing to note is that you can’t drive directly to the hotel door, as it’s in the old city with narrow roads. If you contact the hotel in advance, they’ll provide a nearby parking spot and guide you from there. Honestly, it’s easy to find — if you use Google Maps, you can go straight to it without a problem. And don’t let the parking situation put you off, because the location really is worth it. A wonderful place to stay if you want both comfort and an authentic local feel.
