One of the best fine dining Italian experiences we had in Oman. 🍕🍝✨ We went for the vegetarian menu, and every single dish was amazing. The pasta was absolutely chef’s kiss, the pizzas were perfectly done, and the mocktails were just as impressive. Beautiful ambience, great service, and delicious food all around. If you’re looking for a memorable Italian meal in Oman, this one’s definitely worth it.
I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. I loved the cozy atmosphere, especially the dim lighting, which made the place feel warm and relaxing. The food definitely didn’t disappoint—it was delicious, and everything was well prepared. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only things I think could be improved are the prices, which are a bit on the high side, and the toast, as it wasn’t as fresh as I expected and was a little chewy.
Olio in Nizwa is one of the best restaurants for families and friends. The restaurant offers high-quality food with excellent taste, a comfortable atmosphere, and outstanding service. We were driving towards Jebel Akdahr and had our first lunch here. The service was excellent, my man ordered chicken burger and asked for double patty and it was easy. I had the brisket risotto and ordered a mango shake instead of mango-passion fruit and she delivered without hesitation. On our way back to Muscat via Nizwa, we decided to have lunch at the same restaurant. Highly recommended for food, aesthetics, cleanliness and welcoming ambiance.
We came here looking for the real Italian food in Oman and the dishes we ordered did not disappoint our expectations. At lunch we had the typical Napoli Margherita pizza and tiramisu for dessert. Both were just amazing. We came again for dinner to also try Crispy Calamari and Grilled Salmon. We forgot to take a picture of this second one, but again both were delicious. Maybe not all dishes in the menu follow the Italian tradition, but if you are in Oman missing our flavours, for sure some of them will take you back home. Pizza Margherita is 100% worth it!! The staff is very friendly and polite. Location neat and tidy, very well designed. Loved this place!
