We had the pleasure of dining at Kwareg several times during our stay, and it was consistently outstanding. The setting is absolutely stunning located right in the heart of Nizwa with breathtaking views of the mountains. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and pay great attention to every detail, making us feel right at home each time. As for the food, everything we tried was delicious. The grilled meats, the hummus and fresh salads were perfect. We also highly recommend their homemade fresh orange juice it’s refreshing and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. If you are in Nizwa, this is a must visit spot for the food, the views, and the hospitality!
The atmosphere of this place was amazing! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was truly delicious. We especially loved the muhammara and the fattoush salad. Using old doors as tabletops was a brilliant idea! Definitely a place worth recommending.
Nice small restaurant with a rooftop. The food was fine, nothing extraordinary but fine considering the prices. I also agree with some comments ref the quality of the meat - some skewers were better than others, I think it depends a bit on the rush. The waiter who took care of us was extra nice! Note that they take cards only until 10pm, after that you have to pay in cash.
We didn’t realize it was a hotel with a in-house cafe. We came here around 9:30 AM but still there was only one staff attending to everyone. But no worries, once he attended to us, we ordered the breakfast set for two. It arrived quite fast, and I was impressed with the variety. We were stuffed by the end, and it was a really satisfying meal.
