The best time to visit The 9:00 AM departure time is ideal for avoiding the afternoon heat, especially if you plan to walk in the souk. It's also a great time to enjoy the morning atmosphere of the place. What to wear Visiting the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque requires appropriate attire. Men must wear long trousers and women must cover their heads, arms, and legs. Remember to bring a scarf and loose clothing. For the rest of the excursion, we recommend light and comfortable clothing, as well as good walking shoes. Money and shopping Bring cash (Omani riyal) if you want to shop at the souk, as many small merchants don't accept credit cards.
