Description

Here you will not see a single skyscraper, since their construction is prohibited by law. Visit one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in its grandeur, which ranks no less than 3rd in the world. The prayer temple is decorated with some of the largest handmade carpets and in the center of the hall hangs a huge chandelier weighing 8 tons, decorated with Swarovski crystals. After the mosque you will visit the Royal Opera House. Oman's main music and cultural venue. The theater was built by order of Sultan Qaboos, at one time the first in the Arab world. The Royal Opera House Muscat opened its doors on October 12, 2011. Then we will go to the Mutrah district, the oldest district of the city. Where we will visit the old market, the main embankment of Muscat and see the yachts of Sultan Qaboos, one of which is the 2nd largest in the world. And at the end of the excursion we will go up to the Muttrah Fort, built in the 16th century, from where a stunning view of the seaport of Muscat opens. We will also visit the famous palace square of Sultan Qaboos with a view of his residence Al Alam.

  • Men are supposed to wear trousers, not shorts. Women - long (ankle-length) trousers or skirts, blouses with sleeves up to the hands. It is also necessary to have a scarf or a light scarf that completely covers your hair and neck. You can rent clothes from the mosque itself. There are no shoe requirements.
