Start your day with a pickup at your hotel in the Muscat area or Port or airport. 1. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque Start the day with a visit to one of the most iconic landmarks in Oman. The mosque is a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture with a breathtaking prayer hall, grand chandeliers, and the world-famous handwoven carpet. Note: Dress modestly, and ladies are required to cover hair and arms. 2. Royal Opera House Muscat Next, visit the Royal Opera House, a symbol of Omani culture and art. Admire its stunning marble architecture, intricate wooden décor, and elegant halls. If available, you may explore the exhibitions or enjoy a guided tour inside. 3. Qurum Beach (Photo Stop) Head to Qurum Beach for a quick stop. Capture beautiful photos of the golden sandy beach and palm-lined shore with the turquoise waters of the Arabian Sea. 4. Marina Viewpoint (Photo Stop) Continue to the marina for another photo opportunity. This spot offers scenic views of luxury yachts, fishing boats, and the calm waters of Muscat’s coast. 5. Al Alam Palace & National Museum Visit the ceremonial Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty the Sultan. Muttrah Corniche & Fish Market Stroll along the Muttrah Corniche, a picturesque waterfront promenade with views of the sea, mountains, and traditional dhows. Visit the lively Fish Market, where locals trade fresh catches of the day—a unique cultural experience. 8. Muttrah Souq End the tour with a visit to the famous Muttrah Souq, one of the oldest markets in the region. Wander through narrow alleys filled with the fragrance of frankincense and spices, and shop for silver jewelry, handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs.
