Description

Pick up time 11 AM from your location in Muscat. The journey to Wadi Bani Khalid is around 2 hours in an air-conditioned vehicle, travelling through some beautiful and interesting Omani villages. Wadi Bani Khalid is an oasis spot in the middle of the barren and dry mountains. It is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman with pools of clear deep blue water. A short walk takes you to the Wadi and it is truly breathtaking. You will have the chance to swim in the clear water or just take photos and admire the incredible countryside. Later you will start the journey to the wahiba sands desert. Once you have reached Wahiba Sands your tour guide will let down the tyres to prepare for the journey of a lifetime. You will travel through the vast and endless sand dunes which vary in size and color on a daily basis. There will be many opportunities to take pictures of roaming camels. You will also have the opportunity to go for a camel ride. Later you will be offered the amazing experience of dune bashing, here your driver will show you his sand dune-driving skills with an adrenaline-fueled 4WD safari across 150-metre dunes with a spectacular view of the sunset. Followed by delicious dinner at the desert camp. After the lifetime experience you will head back to Muscat city till 10.00 PM.
