The shop’s location behind the building is not very convenient or appealing. The atmosphere was also quite boring and lacked energy. The ice cream tasted good overall, but I personally found the Al Khoudh branch better in terms of flavor and overall experience, although I’m not sure why there seems to be a difference.
Oh my God! I have never stood in a line for ice cream in Oman—until this place. Fursad really surprised me. No matter what time you go or which branch you visit, there’s always a line. And honestly, that speaks volumes. I’m not even an ice cream lover, but my friends have been raving about Fursad non-stop, so I finally gave in to the hype. But let me tell you—it wasn’t as easy as just showing up and grabbing a cup. I stood under the sun for about 15 minutes, and then waited another 15 minutes inside just to get to the counter. That’s dedication, right? They offer five flavors: Sweet melon, Cheesecake, Green Mango, Passion Fruit, Mango, and Beetham. But what really sets them apart are the toppings: tajin, subar(Omani tamarind sauce), chili sauce, chocolate sauce, and fresh fruits. Yes, you read that right—chili sauce on ice cream! And somehow, it works. I ended up going for the Passion Fruit and Beetham combo, topped with tajin, chili sauce, subar, and fresh fruits—and wow, it blew me away. It was such a surprising blend of flavors—sweet, tangy, spicy, and refreshing all at once. Something completely different and honestly, very very interesting. This might just be one of the very few ice creams I would actually crave again. I just wish I didn’t have to stand in such a long queue for it! But hey, that’s the price you pay for something that’s truly worth the hype.
Nice taste of ice cream with different flavours, have some toppings option too. The place is small but still good. Affordable price. Clean place, small parking area.
