Seafood was super fresh, especially the grilled fish, definitely delicious. Walk 10 mins will reach the souk, good for an after dinner exercise. And the price is absolutely a good deal!
Second time visiting. Good local seafood spot where you choose fresh fish or seafood from the fridge and they prepare it for you. Prices are reasonable, and I would come back for fish or seafood. However, the inside smells strongly of fish and does not look very clean, so the backyard seating is better. Service was slow, even for a small takeaway order. The shrimps were good, but the calamari was a bit dry, and the medium spicy was too spicy. Overall, good food and prices, but cleanliness and waiting time need improvement.
A Gem to visit for an authentic fish meal at the entrance of old Muscat (Muttrah). For less then 6OMR per person you'll get to taste a variety of fish, prawns, crab.... Truly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!
A great spot to enjoy fresh seafood. Mohammed was very helpful in recommending the fish and how it should be prepared. We especially loved the grilled fish and prawns the sauce was absolutely delicious. The staff provided good service as well. If you are a fan of fresh seafood, this place is definitely worth visiting and you will likely want to come back again
Pros: Very fresh fish, with the option to select your own fish for cooking. Prices are reasonable and the taste was excellent. Parking is available, which makes it convenient. Cons: Strong fish smell inside the restaurant — tables and surrounding areas could be cleaned more thoroughly. Overall: Great spot for fresh seafood and flavourful dishes. With better cleanliness, it would be even better.
