The mutton gravy was Excellent and service and atmosphere. The food was great and do not ask for spicy chicken. It's literally spicy 🔥. Check my bill it has the item i bought So stay safe. Expensive rates :(
Calicut Lounge has always been one of our go-to spots, but all our visits so far were either for lunch or dinner. This time, we dropped by in the evening to explore their range of Kerala snacks, and it turned out to be a great experience. Their menu offers a generous selection, and we sampled several of their specialties including Koonthal Nirachath, Idi Mutta, Kai Pola, Ela Ada, Elanji, Panam Puri, Kai Churute, Samosa, Unnakaya, Kunji Pathal Beef, Sweet Bonda, Pakoda, Vettu Cake, and a variety of chicken, vegetable, and egg puffs. We wrapped up the visit with a cup of coffee. The service, as always, was impressive. We will be sharing our lunch and dinner experiences from Calicut Lounge soon. Great food with polite service. The service speed needs to be picked up. Beef dry fry was spicy and crispy. The mutton in rogan josh was tough and needs longer cooking time. Kallumakaya roast was good. Bread items seems to run out fast. So put your orders quickly. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity provided.
The food here is really good, and the service is also commendable. My personal favorites are the Mutton Rogan Josh and their Biriyani, which is served on a banana leaf , it tastes authentic and flavorful. The biriyani especially stands out as a must try. However, the grills didn’t quite meet expectations and could be improved. Overall, a great dining experience
