Good location and the atmosphere is always nice and welcoming, service is good and staff are aware of the food and the surroundings. I usually have my coffee and Moroccan tea at the lobby lounge served by Jordan and it’s always spot on. I have stayed in St.Regis with the family few times and the kids have always been happy with breakfast food, the pool and the kids dedicated kids area which give us the parents some time to relax and enjoy. The dinning experience is always good with plenty of options my family favourite are Novicof With shubham and Mr. GOkay manager both
I called about 40 minutes before the kitchen closed to ask if they were still accepting reservations, and they kindly said yes. Even though I arrived a bit late, they assured me I could still order and enjoy my meal at my own pace, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. All the dishes arrived at once, which I understood since the kitchen was closing, but the service felt rushed. The waitress seemed uninterested and was careless while serving, leaving the table messy as you can see in the photo. The carbonara was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. The pasta was undercooked and extremely salty. When I explained this to the waiter, his only response was that they use many types of cheese, I told him that I ordered carbonara regularly and never face this problem which he then just walked away and no solution or apology was offered. Not changing plates between the salad, appetizers and main course was surprising for a fine dining restaurant. To make matters worse, the guests at the next table were drunk and extremely loud, which ruined the atmosphere. The taco and honey cake, were the highlight of the evening. Sadly, apart from that, the experience did not meet the standards I expected.
An amazing experience at Novikov! The wine and cocktails , atmosphere, and service were all exceptional. a big thank you to the bartender , Nilufar for the creative cocktails, great attitude, and excellent service. A special thank you to Gokay for his outstanding hospitality and making us feel truly welcome, and to Alina for her warm and professional hosting. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back!
I have recently dine at Novikow St Regis and I have been amazed by the quality, taste, presentation and quantity of the dishes. Every dish was flavorful and generous, properly plated and the touch of the chef was present and well recognizable in every bite. Seafood and bread basket freshly done and original in flavors. Dessert also left me extremely happy. I place that deserve definitely to come back and definitely one of the best restaurant in Muscat. Hats off for this incredible restaurant!

The freshly baked bread served as a starter, paired with tomato sauce, was a simple but memorable touch. The Margherita pizza was the highlight of the meal, and the mushroom pasta held its own as a solid, satisfying choice. What ties the experience together is the staff — genuinely warm and attentive throughout. If you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and find yourself in Muscat, Novikov is well worth a visit.
