The best meal i had during my time in Oman. Everything is fresh and so well seasoned. The owners are very friendly and suggested some dishes for us based on what we like. Lots of vegetarian options as well.
Absolutely amazing first experience with Pakistani cuisine! This was our very first visit to a Pakistani restaurant, and wow — we are officially in love. Every single dish was bursting with flavor, rich spices, and that comforting, home-style warmth that makes you want to order everything on the menu. The food was unbelievably delicious, but the real star for us was the freshly baked Pakistani bread (naan) — warm, soft, straight from the oven and honestly one of the best breads we’ve ever had. We’re still dreaming about it. The biggest surprise? The kids 😄 Our son Antek was completely blown away — pure food heaven for him. Helena, who usually always has something to say about food, didn’t complain even once (which says EVERYTHING). And both adults — myself and my husband Dawid — were equally impressed. Everything we tried was full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and clearly made with care. This place turned our first Pakistani food experience into something truly special — and it definitely won’t be our last visit. Highly, highly recommended. We’ll be back very soon!
Very nice Pakistani restaurant, with amazing curries. We could feel like our bodies are very happy for the freshly cooked good quality food. Chicken, Dal, Spinach…everything! The curries are served on the hot plate which is still sizzling. The owner is very friendly and really makes you feel at home in his restaurant. It’s a bit outside of Sur but it’s worth to come out there to enjoy a good meal !
Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. We stopped here right outside of Sur and it was an incredible experience. The owner, Shabir, is from Kashmir and served us himself—he was so sweet and absolutely AMAZING. We just sat down and he simply said "welcome guests" and took care of everything, bringing us a feast: Mutton Nashif (spinach mutton), Beef Nashif (beef fry), Butter Chicken, and Pickled Chicken with rice and fresh naan. We finished with mint tea and the delicious Halua sweets (pictured!). Every single dish was a 10/10. Shabir made us feel like family. If you are anywhere near Sur, you have to stop here. Sooooo good!
The BEST restaurant in Sur by far, and definitely one of our top meals in Oman!! I highly recommend stopping here for a meal. We got the mutton with spinach, pickle chicken, butter chicken, and beef with tomatoes. Dessert was sweet halwa with fresh mint tea. Everything was absolutely amazing. High quality ingredients. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, as well. It was a wonderful experience all around—a meal I will not forget!
