I had the pleasure of visiting the lounge with my Qatar Airways platinum member pass, and I must say, I was truly impressed! I didn't anticipate such a luxurious atmosphere. The food was absolutely delightful, and the bar service was top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the special "Oman Air" cocktail, which was simply fantastic. It really made my transfer in Muscat an unforgettable experience!
One of the best airport lounges I’ve ever been to. The food, service, and beverages were all excellent. Everything was well maintained, the staff were courteous and attentive, and the overall experience was truly comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind before a flight.
I visited this lounge recently using my Qantas Platinum status. It is important to note that despite being a major hub, there is no separate First Class lounge here—only one Business lounge for all passengers. The Space & Dining While the lounge itself is quite large and was quiet during my visit, the experience was underwhelming. The buffet is very limited and lacks variety. I ordered the seafood noodles from the menu, but they were just "so-so" and certainly nothing to write home about. The Showers This was easily the worst lounge shower experience I’ve ever had. The shower cubicle is tiny—literally smaller than a standard toilet cubicle. There is absolutely no maintenance and water gets everywhere because it's so cramped. For a international lounge, these facilities are a disgrace. Verdict A decent place to sit if you just need a quiet, spacious area, but the dining is mediocre and the showers are unacceptable. Don't expect a true "First Class" experience here just because of your status—it simply doesn't exist.
We visited the Oman Air Business lounge at Muscat International and it was perfect. The lounge was located on the 1st floor and was massive with 3 different food offers, al-a-carte, buffet and bistro type area for relaxed dining. The variety and quality of food was great. The facilities like showers, sleeping areas and toilets were clean and attended regularly by cleaners. There's dedicated fast wifi here for the users. A well relaxed break between flights, highly recommended!
