One of the best places in the world ever! I have been to more than 1500 hotels and accommodations so far, and Nima Guesthouse is one of the most convenient, cozy and clean with a lovely, flexible and supportive manager (Hossein😇). The place is super calm and super clean with good value of the money to stay and enjoy! Also the location is very good and breakfast is local and yummy!😋 Highly recommended!👌
Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice room in perfect location: just outside the city center, but in a quiet, green place surrounded by green bushes and birds. We had a room on the roof, which meant we got the roof terrace to ourselves. Very lovely.
Pros: Excellent location, about a 10-minute walk from the souq and fort (and historical Nizwa) but also quiet enough to get a great night’s sleep. Comfortable bed, great AC, fan too if the AC gets too cold. EXCELLENT WiFi in room 7- super happy I got upgraded me to this room as I had asked for powerful WiFi in order to work. There’s also a wonderfully grumpy Persian cat who I looooove. Also laundry is only 1 rial! There’s a supermarket just around the corner which is handy. Also a separate kitchen to put sundries. Cons: Combo showery and bathroom is never my favourite but the floor dries super quick with the hot weather. Can only pay with cash :(
⸻ We spent two nights at Nima Hostel. I can confidently say it’s one of the best and coolest hostels in Nizwa. It’s only a five-minute walk to the city center, and you can enjoy walking through the charming alleyways at night. The atmosphere of the hostel is friendly, calm, and clean. Hossein is a kind and knowledgeable man, and he’s always ready to help with any questions you have about Nizwa.
