Alshuruq Stay
Oman
Recenzje
Al Shuruq is a great base if you are planning to visit Jebel Shams, Misfat, Bahla, and Nizwa, especially considering the cost compared to those areas. The room we booked (Al Hamra) was spacious enough for a couple with two kids—clean, quiet, and with comfortable beds. The accommodation has a shared, well-equipped kitchen, a laundry area, seating and dining areas, and wide parking right in front of every room and a bonus playground for your kids. As a sunrise enthusiast, I can say the name “Al Shuruq” does not disappoint—it is located right in front of the accommodation. (Set up your tripod on the rooftop and let your camera capture the beautiful sunrise in Al Hamra.) Beyond the five-star accommodation and service, the owner, Mr. Ahmed, truly made our stay in Al Hamra wonderful. A proud local, he shared stories about this beautiful place. We even met his family during our short trip to the Al Hamra viewpoints, and he recommended excellent restaurants. We also visited the Jebel Shams Balcony (Sunset Tour), which became the highlight of our 10-day Oman loop trip. Oman is a great country. Omanis are kind and humble. God bless! —Basa Family (Jerard, Dea, Zion, and Zeeke)
As an Asian traveler, I stayed here for two nights. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly. The room was spacious and spotless, and we had a great night's sleep. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Staying in Alshuruq Stay was truly fantastic, the accomdation is absolutely perfection and the location and scenery are unmatched. You have rugged mountains meeting timeless mud-brick architecture, and the sunrises and sunsets from Al Hamra are amazing The accommodation itself was a perfect base: warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to blend comfort with authenticity. Great facilities and very comfortable space. The host, Ahmed, could not have been more welcoming, kind, and generous. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him and his daughter. He is very passionate about the area and gave fantastic tips and is willing to go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. Nearby are winding trails and breathtaking hikes—whether gentle walks through palm groves or more adventurous climbs into the Hajar Mountains. Equally you have Jabreen Castle, Misfat, Bahla, Nizwa all closeby to experience some Omani culture. Equally delightful was the rhythm of daily life nearby. Al Hamra’s coffee shops became cherished stops, offering rich Omani brews and modern blends alike. Sitting watching locals live peaceful, happy and welcoming lives. Thank you Ahmed. I cannot wait to come back and hopefully bring my family with me.
Ahmed is such a friendly and welcoming person. We absolutely loved our stay, the room was spacious and clean. It is the perfect place if you want to visit the surrounding mountains and other attractions like Nizwa. Definitely recommend this.
Short review? A must visit place! Stay at the alshuruq stay was very cozy in the idyllic town of Al Hamra. Very hospitable and comfortable place to live. They also have bicycles to rent and explore the old ruins of the town on cycles. Many thanks to the little daughter of the owner who welcomed us. Oman is really beautiful place to visit.
