Rooms were absolutely spotless. They were of a good size and right by the beach. Breakfast options were very limited. It's a great place to stay when you're in Salalah.
Excellent location and staffs. Very polite, friendly and accomodation, (both reception and housekeeping). The location was very good, right in the beach. However the exterior of the property doesn't match expectations based on the photos. Not maintained at all, looks old, dated, ill kept. Not cleaned properly which made sitting in the balcony a less than pleasant experience. The balcony furnitures were not acceptable at all. The table looked old and dirty like it was picked up from garbage. The chairs were beach chairs just thrown in randomly. I noticed other balconies had different chairs. The rooms are fine but felt a little damp. Bed was perfect, sheets and towels were perfect. There were hardly any amenities. Just a electric kettle, and very limited tea and coffee sachets and two small bottles of water. No disposable slippers. Bathroom was fine. Toiletries were very bare minimal too. Just shampoo, body wash and soap of very basic quality. There was a sitting area outside the reception, the furnitures there looked abandoned. Swimming pool was under maintainance which was not mentioned. We booked especially for the pool so it was disappointning. Breakfast was not included either. Given the tariffs these facelites should have been included. Over all it was fine. If only the property was maintained better it would have been excellent.
We stayed for two nights at Salalah Beach Resort during our summer vacation in June. Our first impression of the property wasn’t the best, as the exterior of the building looked a little dated and in need of better maintenance. However, once we stepped inside, our experience improved. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth. They also guided us on how to order food from both the hotel’s restaurant and outside delivery services. Our room was spacious, clean, and well presented, with tea and coffee-making facilities provided. There was a slight odor when we first entered the room, but it gradually disappeared after some time. We also had a balcony with a beautiful, direct view of the beach. Since we were traveling with young children, we didn’t spend much time on the balcony as we felt it wasn’t the safest for them. The bathroom was also clean, spacious, and well maintained. A special mention goes to the housekeeping staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate our requests throughout our stay. Their friendliness and willingness to help made a positive difference to our experience. The resort would benefit from some refurbishment, particularly the exterior, as it has great potential and would be even more appealing with a refreshed look. One of the highlights of our stay was the peaceful beachfront setting, which was perfect for an evening walk or simply relaxing while listening to the sound of the waves. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and appreciated the hospitality of the staff. With a few updates to the property, this resort could offer an even better guest experience.
