Nice restaurant. Food was yummy. Prices are little high.
Golden Grill House in Ruwi has undergone a complete transformation, and the results are impressive. The restaurant now features modern interiors, comfortable seating, and a much more refined atmosphere while still maintaining the charm that has made it a favorite among locals for years. The menu offers a wide variety of options. During our visit, we tried the Jade Soup and Peking Soup, followed by starters including Dragon Momo, Cheesy Fries, Chicken Spring Rolls, Chicken Thread, Chicken Gulabi Kebab, Chicken Hazari Kebab, and Paneer Franky. Everything was well prepared and served fresh. For the main course, we enjoyed the Chicken Haryali Biryani, Paneer Haryali Biryani, Wok Box, and Veg Punjabi Biryani. The portions were generous, and each dish had its own distinct flavor. The restaurant is suitable for families, groups, and casual dining, with a pleasant ambiance that makes the overall experience enjoyable. Conveniently located behind the Clock Tower in Ruwi, it is also available for delivery through Talabat. A great option for anyone looking for a comfortable dining experience with an extensive menu and a refreshed atmosphere.
Fabulous meal at the Grill House in Muscat this evening. Extensive menu, and the dishes we chose were perfect. Zeera rice, garlic naan, cheese salad and lime pickle were also perfect additions. Friendly staff and no wait time. Recommended A+
Authentic Omani Hospitality & Flavors ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Golden Grill House for lunch after arriving in Muscat, and it was the perfect introduction to local Omani cuisine. As someone staying nearby at the Golden Tulip Headington, I found this spot to be exceptionally clean, welcoming, and authentic. The highlight of the meal was the Mandi. The rice was perfectly seasoned, fragrant, and fluffy. While the chicken was a bit on the drier side for my personal taste, the skin was flavorful and well-marinated, pairing beautifully with the refreshing yogurt side dish. The smoky aroma of the grill really stands out here. Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by helping me book a taxi after my meal. It is rare to find such genuine hospitality at such an affordable price point. If you are looking for a clean, local spot with great service and traditional flavors in Ruwi, this is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back to try their mixed grills!
