Great location and view and the hotel managers were nice however I wouldn’t stay here again. Our first room clearly had mold on the ceiling, we mentioned it and were able to change rooms, but the next room had black mold on the floor in the shower. We mentioned it again and they said it wasn’t mold just “staining” and nothing more they could do. Picture attached… maybe it’s just staining but looked like mold to us. We had our baby and 4 year old with us so we avoided the washroom as much as possible and didn’t shower for 2 days. Hopefully they fix the mold! Otherwise it was reasonably clean, not bad considering it’s a 2 star hotel.
Absolutely amazing hotel! The location is unbeatable – right in front of Nizwa Fort and the souq. The rooms are spotless and very well maintained, but what truly makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. They were incredibly kind, extremely helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough!
The location is great and the view of our room, facing the fort, was great! Service was friendly enough but not really good and the main issue for us was the bathroom - no ventilation and no proper shower, which made the entire room wet. Overall, I thought the price a bit too high for what it is.
The price-performance ratio was okay, and the location is great. The view from the room was awesome. It was clean at the beginning, but unfortunately, the room was only cleaned on the second day — and only after we asked for it. The cleaning was rather minimal; the bathroom wasn’t cleaned and had an unpleasant smell since there was no ventilation. Towels were also changed only upon request. Overall, the room service could definitely be improved. Unfortunately, our toilet was clogged towards the end of our stay. All in all, it was okay, but we didn’t feel completely comfortable, mainly because of the bathroom. On a positive note, one of the staff members, a young man, was friendly and willing to help, for example by assisting with our luggage.
