Amazing lovely inn,perfect location, immaculate cleanliness and friendly staff. Few minutes away from the souq.
This place is truly a hidden gem in the souq. The combination of traditional Omani design and modern touches creates such a beautiful and unique stay. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and even though we only stayed for one night, they took care of us with so much sincerity and warmth. At checkout, they even gave us a traditional Omani souvenir as a farewell gift, which made the experience even more special. Thank you so much for your genuine hospitality. This is a place we will never forget.
Pros: Location is easy to find and near the souq, laundry costs 0.3 OMR per piece, staff are kind but have limited English. Cons: Rooms are not soundproof and you can clearly hear someone opening/closing their door or speaking in the hallway. The beds are sagged in and uncomfortable, there is only 1 lousy pillow, and the bedsheets are warm and not breathable. In our twin room, the shower is right in front of the toilet bowl so the toilet bowl gets wet when you bathe. There is a constant supply of flies and mosquitoes in the room even though we kept the windows closed and told the staff not to makeup room. ——— My rating system: 5 = It was really awesome, and I keep thinking about it 4 = It was good, and I’m happy to come back 3 = It was unmemorable, but I could come here again 2 = I would probably discourage you from coming here 1 = I wouldn’t come back unless you paid me
I had a truly pleasant stay at this accommodation. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything felt clean, well‑maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, which made it easy to feel comfortable right from the start. The location was also very convenient — quiet enough to relax, yet well connected so you can easily reach everything you need. Check‑in was smooth, and communication was consistently friendly and helpful. There’s always a little room for improvement — for example, some rooms don’t really have a proper window with a view — but overall the stay was excellent. I would definitely come back and can recommend this place without hesitation.
