I recently visited Al Sham Restaurant - grill fish center to try their grilled fish, and while the food lived up to the reputation, the overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The Food The grilled fish was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. It was cooked to perfection—moist on the inside with a beautifully charred, smoky exterior. The seasoning was authentic and well-balanced, capturing those traditional Levant flavors I was craving. If you are coming strictly for the quality of the grill, you won’t be disappointed. The Atmosphere However, the environment left much to be desired. Despite the great food, the restaurant did not feel family-friendly. The space felt somewhat cramped and lacked the welcoming, comfortable vibe usually expected for a family outing. The noise levels and general layout made it difficult to enjoy a relaxed dinner with loved ones. Final Verdict Go for the food, but perhaps consider takeout if you are dining with family. The fish is a 5-star experience, but the ambiance needs significant improvement to be a top-tier destination for groups.
