A little surprised to see an average rating of 4.2 at the time of this review. We had a genuine five-star experience at Bella Vista. We started with cocktails at Diana's Point, where an excellent selection of drinks can be enjoyed alongside breathtaking views across the plateau. Every table was occupied when we arrived, but the attentive staff quickly brought over an additional table so we could enjoy the setting. We then moved to the dining area. While it doesn't offer quite the same spectacular views, it more than makes up for it with the quality of the food. The pasta we ordered was beautifully prepared and tasted genuinely authentic. The team puts in a great effort and it shows. We'll definitely be back.
Had such a lovely experience! The food was absolutely amazing, and the chef is truly exceptional — he can customise dishes exactly to your taste, which made everything even more special. We were feeling a bit under the weather, and the waiter Anil kindly brought us ginger tea, which was such a thoughtful and warm gesture. Thank you for the great hospitality — we’ll definitely be coming back!
This is by far the best restaurant I’ve been to in Oman, and the most memorable experience. The location is absolutely breathtaking, and the weather was more than amazing when we went. We wanted to dine at the terrace but were recommended otherwise because it was going to rain, however, Anil from Nepal; who was our very kind waiter was there to take pictures of us as a family, and I remember there were 3 gentlemen at the terrace, and they gave us their seats, which were the best seats, in order to take the best pictures. (We later learnt from Anil that they were the Hotel’s owner, the restaurant manager, and the chef - very humble persons, I will forever remember the hotel owner kindly offering his seat, what a gentleman!) We had delicious food, it was our 10th anniversary, and it was so special to share it with our two daughters, and we will forever remember it. The desert was exceptionally thoughtful, as Anil prepared it in front of us. Good luck to everyone, thank you for the memories, absolutely recommend it, will never forget being there.
