I’ve been there several times, and it has always been an excellent experience. The food quality is great, and the staff, especially the Iranian ladies, are incredibly respectful and professional. The atmosphere has such a lovely, relaxing vibe. Highly recommended!
Ambiance: The architecture and interior design are truly stunning. Stepping into the restaurant feels like walking into a traditional Omani fort, with a beautiful blend of heritage and modern touches. The private rooms and the overall atmosphere make it a unique cultural experience. Food & Experience: Although the ambiance was good, the food was not up to the expectations. While the presentation is nice and the menu offers a wide variety of traditional dishes, the flavors didn't quite live up to the spectacular setting. It is a great place for the vibe and photography, but the culinary experience could be more consistent.
This was one of the most wonderful restaurant experiences we had in Oman during Ramadan! We truly loved every detail from the unique vintage building to the warm and welcoming Omani staff. Everything about the place feels special. The atmosphere is honestly unmatched. Even during a busy iftar, the space felt calm and peaceful, with everyone enjoying their food. The way everything was organized, especially the refilling system, was very smart and smooth. The scent of the place added such a nice touch, and we loved the concept of sharing tables, it gave us the chance to meet new people and enjoy the experience together. If you’re visiting Oman, this place is an absolute must-visit ❤️
When we drove past, we honestly thought it was a palace but it turned out to be a restaurant. The aesthetics was beautiful. You truly feel like you are dining inside a palace. The server that looked after us for the night was prompt and professional. However, the food was just not up to standard. The food was mostly bland and lacked any sort of flavour. It tasted as though they have cooked in bulk and stored for hours in a hotbox. The dessert platter wasn't any good either. It had a strange taste on every item and it just tasted of sugar. Unfortunately, the standards in the kitchen does not match everything that's going on at Rozna. Also, the place is absolutely massive so there's no real need for any reservations.
I came here on Friday which has buffet at lunch time. All the food is fresh, very authentic, and nice taste. They have appetizers, main course, and desserts with free flow beverages as well. We could experience a live cooking of Regag which we could request the flavour. However, the front staff didn’t seem ready to have crowd and queue situation. We paid and waited for the place to sit for so long. No information how long we would wait to have a seat. Even I saw people who just came after me could sit directly without queuing. Then, when I asked about the seat, they said just wait. I argued with the staff a bit because we’d been waiting for more than 15 minutes. I’m not satisfying with the staff service, yet the food and atmosphere are the best things in Rozna. You can see many spots for taking pictures in here.
