Your journey begins with a visit to the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the Middle East. Admire its breathtaking Islamic architecture, elegant chandeliers, impressive prayer hall, and peaceful courtyards. Learn about Omani traditions and Islamic culture while exploring this remarkable landmark. (Please note: The mosque is open to non-Muslim visitors from Saturday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Continue to the prestigious Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman's premier center for arts and culture. Enjoy a photo stop outside this architectural masterpiece, built with beautiful Omani stone and surrounded by elegant gardens. Guests may also choose to enter the Opera House (entrance ticket not included) if time permits.
Next, drive through the elegant Embassy District, home to many international embassies, luxury residences, and beautifully landscaped avenues that showcase the modern side of Muscat.
Visit the historic Muttrah Corniche, one of the city's most scenic waterfront promenades. Stroll along the harbor, admire traditional wooden dhows anchored at the port, and capture stunning views of the surrounding mountains and coastline.
Your tour continues at the famous Muttrah Souq, one of the oldest traditional markets in the Arabian Peninsula.
