Begin your desert experience with a convenient pickup from the meeting point at the beginning of the desert, followed by a scenic drive through the beautiful golden dunes. Continue to a traditional Bedouin family house, where you will have the opportunity to meet a local family and experience their warm Omani hospitality. Enjoy a traditional cup of Arabic coffee while learning more about the Bedouin way of life and the traditions of the desert. For those who would like to experience a camel ride, an optional short camel ride is available directly at the Bedouin house. The camel ride costs OMR 3 per person, payable on site, and lasts approximately 5–7 minutes. After this cultural experience, continue deeper into the desert to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and spectacular views of the surrounding dunes. As the afternoon progresses, stop at a beautiful location in the desert to watch the sunset over the golden sand dunes. Take some time to relax, enjoy the scenery, and capture memorable photos before returning to the vehicle at the parking point.

Important Information

• This experience lasts approximately 3 hours and takes place in the desert. The tour involves driving on sandy and uneven desert terrain, so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties. The visit to the Bedouin family house offers an authentic cultural experience; guests are kindly requested to respect local customs and traditions. The traditional Arabic coffee is included in the experience. Camel riding is optional and is payable directly on site at OMR 3 per person for approximately 5–7 minutes. Additional activities are not included in the tour price. We recommend wearing comfortable, lightweight clothing and closed or comfortable shoes suitable for walking on sand. During the summer months, temperatures can be very high, especially in the desert. Please bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and sufficient drinking water. The sunset viewing location may vary depending on weather and desert conditions.
