Day 1: Muscat City Tour Start your day with a pickup from your hotel or the airport. Head to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of Oman’s most iconic landmarks, famous for its stunning Islamic architecture, grand chandelier, and beautiful prayer hall. Next, drive to the Royal Opera House Muscat for a photo stop and a short visit to this elegant cultural landmark. Continue to the Bait Al Zubair Museum to discover Omani heritage, traditional costumes, weapons, and historical exhibits. Afterward, enjoy a photo stop at Qurum Beach, where you can take in scenic coastal views. Then, head to Muttrah Souq, where you’ll have free time to explore the traditional market filled with souvenirs, frankincense, spices, and local handicrafts. Next, visit Al Alam Palace for a photo stop and admire the ceremonial palace of His Majesty the Sultan. Continue to Al Jalali Fort and Al Mirani Fort for more photo opportunities of the historic Portuguese forts overlooking Muscat Harbor. Finally, visit the impressive Parliament Building of Oman for exterior photos before returning to your hotel. Day 2: Seeb, Fanja & Cultural Experience Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel and head to the Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque. Explore the beautiful modern mosque known for its elegant Islamic architecture and chandeliers. Next, visit Seeb Souq, a local traditional market popular for fresh fish, textiles, and daily Omani life. Continue to the Amouage Factory to discover the world-famous luxury Omani perfumes and learn about the perfume-making process. Afterward, explore Oman’s vibrant wholesale fruit and vegetable market at Mawaleh Market. Then, drive to Fanja Souq and walk through the old local souq area to experience the traditional atmosphere. Continue to Fanja Old Village to discover the abandoned mud houses, old architecture, and mountain scenery. Then, visit Wadi Fanja for a short stop to enjoy the natural surroundings and wadi views.
