Depart from Muscat and begin your scenic journey toward the majestic Jebel Akhdar, one of Oman’s most beautiful mountain destinations. From Birkat Al Mouz, drive up the winding mountain road to Jebel Akhdar, also known as the Green Mountain, famous for its cool climate, terraced farms, and breathtaking canyon views.
Visit Diana’s Point, a spectacular viewpoint named after Princess Diana, who once visited this spot to admire the stunning mountain scenery. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the dramatic landscape and surrounding valleys.
Continue to Al Suwjara Old Village, one of the most picturesque mountain villages in the region. Explore its traditional stone houses built into the mountainside and walk through the narrow paths surrounded by terraced farms and beautiful natural scenery.
