This two-day tour blends coastal markets, historic forts, natural hot springs, and mountain villages in northern Oman, suitable for adventure and culture seekers.
Day 1: Start at Barka Fish Market and the adjacent fruit and vegetable market to experience local trade. Visit Barka Castle to learn about Oman’s coastal heritage. Continue to Nakhal Fort, set against dramatic mountains. Relax at Nakhal Hot Springs before driving the scenic off-road route of Wadi Bani Awf. End the day in the village of Bilad Sayt, surrounded by nature and traditional culture.
Day 2: After breakfast, visit the historic village of Al Hamra with its mud-brick houses. Proceed to the mountain village of Misfah al Abriyeen, known for terraced farms and tranquility. Then explore Nizwa, visiting Nizwa Souq for traditional crafts and Nizwa Fort for panoramic views and history. Return to Muscat in the evening.
