Description

Day 1 begins with a 2.5-hour drive from Muscat to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman's largest and most beautiful wadis. Relax and swim in the natural fresh water pools, with an option to picnic on-site. Then continue to Wahiba Sands desert for camel rides, sand boarding, quad biking, and sunset views from the dunes. Spend overnight at a desert camp with dinner and breakfast included.

On Day 2, depart towards Nizwa, the former capital known for its fort, castle, and vibrant markets offering souvenirs, Omani dates, and traditional halwa sweets. Next, visit Birkat Al Mouz, a village famous for its ancient falaj irrigation system, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Finally, drive up to Jabal Al Akhdar, also called the green mountain, where the temperature is around 14 degrees cooler. Return to Muscat after the visit.
