The tour begins with a photo stop outside Taqah Mosque, a coastal landmark showcasing local spiritual and architectural heritage. Continue to Burj Al Askar, a historic military tower providing panoramic views of the coastline and city, where you enjoy traditional Karak tea.
Drive into the mountains to Wadi Darbat, known for its natural beauty and roaming camels. During the Khareef season, waterfalls transform the valley into an oasis, ideal for photography and nature observation.
Next, reach Jebel Samhan, Dhofar's highest viewpoint, offering dramatic cliffs and sweeping views of the Arabian Sea. Afterward, visit Gravity Hill, where your 4x4 appears to roll uphill, followed by a walk among ancient Baobab trees found in the highlands.
End the daylight segment with a sunset at Taqah Cliff, where the cliffs illuminate as the sun sets over the sea. As night falls, return to Salalah city to explore after-dark highlights.
