Description

We leave the hostel around 7 am and drive by 4WD car into the valley necrosis. It will take around 30 minutes driving. First, we have a stop at the view point where you look over valley necrosis with the ruins of the castle and abandoned houses. With 4WD car we drive through the river before we start hiking. We will hike all the way through the canyon. This is the canyon where the trail of the balcony hike will look down into (partly). During the hike you will have enough time to take pictures and relax to enjoy the view. In the end there is a nice pool ‘Al Madala Pond’, where we will have a break with coffee or tea and some local snacks. You can have a nice swim and cool down and relax. The hike is a moderate difficult hike, the total hike is about 16 km and takes about 6-7 hours. The trail is mostly flat trough the canyon, but the end of the trail is pretty steep up. The elevation gain is about 300 meter. We hike the same way back.
