Your tour begins with pickup from your accommodation in Muscat. Travel along the Batinah coastline to Barka, then continue south to the Oasis of Nakhal. Here, you will see Nakhal Fort, located among mountain foothills near water sources that irrigate date palm plantations.
Visit Nakhal Fort, originally built by the Sassanids in pre-Islamic times to defend against invading Arab tribes. The current structure dates back to the 17th century. Next, visit Al Thowarah Hot Springs, located a few kilometers from Nakhal Fort.
The final stop is Rustaq Fort, another pre-Islamic fort in the former medieval capital of Oman. After the tour, return to your accommodation in Muscat.
