- Wear lightweight summer clothing for most of the year. In winter, bring sweaters or jackets, especially for evenings.

- Oman’s conservative dress code requires covering shoulders and knees in public areas, including souqs and villages. Swimwear is only appropriate at beaches and hotel pools.
- Photography is generally allowed, but avoid photographing Arab women without permission. Request consent before taking pictures of men. Photography of government buildings, police, or military sites is prohibited.
- The tour includes walking on uneven, inclined terrain with many steps at Nizwa and Jabrin Forts. It is not suitable for those with mobility issues or pregnant women.
