Description

Day 1: Muscat, Coast, Wadis, and Wahiba Sands Desert Begin your journey with a visit to the spectacular Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone crater filled with crystal-clear turquoise water. Surrounded by rugged landscapes, this beautiful geological formation is perfect for photography and, when conditions allow, a refreshing swim. Continue to Fins Beach, one of Oman’s beautiful coastal escapes. Admire the contrast between the white shoreline, deep blue Arabian Sea, and surrounding mountains. Take a peaceful walk along the beach, relax by the water, and capture memorable photographs. Make a short photo stop at Wadi Tiwi, a picturesque valley surrounded by rugged mountains and lush green plantations. Capture views of traditional villages, terraced farms, palm trees, and the spectacular mountain landscape before continuing your journey. Next, explore Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most famous natural attractions. Follow a scenic 35–45 minute hike through dramatic canyon walls, palm-filled landscapes, rocky trails, and shallow water crossings. Reach the beautiful natural pools where you can cool off and swim while surrounded by towering cliffs. Depending on water conditions, adventurous travelers can continue swimming toward the famous hidden cave and waterfall. From the coast, travel inland toward the magnificent Wahiba Sands, where the landscape transforms into endless golden dunes. Enjoy an exciting 4WD desert drive across the dunes and experience the incredible beauty and tranquility of Oman’s desert. As evening approaches, watch the sun disappear behind the golden dunes and enjoy a spectacular desert sunset. Relax at Al Salam Camp and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the desert. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the evening beneath the stars. Day 2: Bedouin Culture, Wadi Bani Khalid, and Muscat Start your morning with the beautiful desert sunrise before breakfast. After breakfast, visit a traditional Bedouin home, experience Omani hospitality and learn about the traditions, lifestyle, and culture of people who have lived in the desert for generations. Enjoy traditional Omani coffee and dates while sharing a unique cultural experience with your local hosts. Continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. Discover crystal-clear turquoise pools surrounded by palm trees, rugged mountains, and dramatic canyon scenery. Take time to swim in the natural pools, relax beside the water, explore the surroundings, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It is the perfect place to unwind after your desert adventure. After enjoying Wadi Bani Khalid, begin your scenic drive back to Muscat. Relax and enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from the mountains and desert toward the coast. Arrive back in Muscat in the late afternoon, with convenient drop-off at your hotel.
