Description
Your tour begins at the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, where you will admire the grand Islamic architecture and tranquil interiors. Note that during Ramadan, visits are limited to photo stops.
Next, discover Haffa Souq, a traditional market near Haffa Beach and the Sultan’s Palace. Browse stalls offering frankincense, bakhur, Omani perfumes, handmade textiles, and souvenirs.
Then visit a local fruit farm to walk among coconut palms, banana trees, papayas, and other tropical plants unique to Salalah.
Stop at a traditional halwa shop to sample Omani halwa, a dessert made with saffron, honey, and dates.
The tour concludes with free time at Salalah Grand Mall, the city’s largest shopping center, where you can shop, exchange currency, have coffee, or relax in an air-conditioned environment before hotel return.
