Description

Designated a nature reserve since 1996, the Daymaniyat Islands serve as an important nesting site for hawksbill and green turtles, and host a variety of migratory birds including the rare sooty falcon, one of the few migratory raptors that breeds locally.

Access to the islands is restricted: landing on the islands is not permitted from May 1 to October 31. Visitors can only step ashore and relax on the beaches between November 1 and April 30.

The islands provide excellent dive sites suitable for beginners to advanced divers. Snorkelers visit two different designated snorkeling locations during the tour.

Departure and return take place at Seeb Port, Muscat. Boats leave promptly at 8:30 am. Arrive 20 minutes early for check-in.
