The tour begins with pickup from your hotel or port in Muscat and travels to the ancient city of Nizwa. Upon arrival, explore the city’s historic fortifications, including numerous mosques and traditional buildings.
Your experienced guide will share the history of Nizwa as you visit its iconic fort. After exploring the fort, stroll through the lively Nizwa souk, where silver jewelry, antiques, and traditional daggers are on display.
Next, visit Bahla, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for some of the oldest fortresses in Oman. Enjoy a photo-stop amid pottery craftsmen and clay forts. The tour concludes with a visit to Jabrin Fort, built in 1675, where you can admire its detailed interior architecture before returning to Muscat.
