Start the tour with a convenient pick-up from your hotel, resort, or home in Muscat. Relax in an air-conditioned vehicle while traveling through varied Omani landscapes for approximately 90 minutes.
On the way, sample the popular and flavorful Omani Karak tea. Upon arrival at Wadi Shab, take a brief boat ride across to the wadi’s entrance. Begin a 40-minute hike along a well-marked trail through the valley to reach the canyon and waterfalls.
The initial part of the hike is easy and follows the wadi’s edge. Take your time and watch your steps. Along the way, observe the natural formation of the canyon, local farming practices, traditional crop irrigation methods, and the surrounding flora.
Bring waterproof cameras and suitable footwear to capture moments during the hike. After exploring Wadi Shab, continue to Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural water-filled crater surrounded by rock cliffs. Use the steps to enter the clear water for swimming or snorkeling and relax by the sinkhole.
The tour concludes with a return drive to Muscat, dropping you off at your accommodation.
