Tour Options
Option 1: Desert & Wadi Bani Khalid Tour
Begin with a 4x4 drive into Wahiba Sands featuring dune bashing across soft sand hills. Enjoy walking on dunes and photographing the desert landscape. Afterward, have a traditional lunch with vegetarian options available.
Continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, an oasis surrounded by cliffs and palm groves. Swim in crystal-clear pools or explore canyon paths. Swimming is recommended in hot weather but not mandatory.
Option 2: Wadi Bani Khalid & Wahiba Desert - Sunset Experience
Start at Wadi Bani Khalid with time to swim or explore. A traditional lunch with vegetarian options follows.
Then head to Wahiba Sands for dune bashing and free time on the dunes. Stay to watch the desert sunset as colors change, creating a calm atmosphere before returning to Muscat.
Option 3: Wadi Bani Khalid, Wahiba Desert with Quad Bike Riding
This full-day tour combines the oasis visit and desert adventure with a 30-minute quad bike ride in the dunes. Swim, explore, and relax at the oasis then enjoy dune bashing and quad biking. Sunset views are possible depending on timing.
Option 4: Oasis & Desert with Overnight Stay
Visit Wadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands, then stay overnight at a desert camp. You will be picked up the next day and transferred back to Muscat.

- During peak season, transport from Muscat may be by bus, but dune bashing will always use 4x4 vehicles.
- There is a short fuel station stop where guests can purchase snacks and drinks with cash.
- The tour operates in most weather conditions; extreme weather may require adjustments.
- Start times vary: Desert & Oasis tour usually begins around 8:00 AM; sunset and quad bike options begin between 9:00 and 11:00 AM, depending on the season.
