Begin your day by boarding a 4WD vehicle to visit Oman’s most remarkable wadi. Stop at Wadi Fanjah for photo opportunities overlooking the wadi and surrounding oasis.
Drive through the Sumail Gap, which separates the Western and Eastern Hajjar mountains, passing the ruins of Al Mansfah near Ibra. Continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, passing a village with extensive plantations before reaching the wide pools of the wadi. The cool, deep pools are ideal for a refreshing swim.
