This day tour explores Wadi Tiwi, located near Tiwi Town in Oman, ideal for nature and adventure enthusiasts.
Wadi Mibam, part of Wadi Tiwi, features waterfalls, lush gardens, and clear pools. Access involves narrow rough roads passing through villages, barren mountains, and cliffs. The descent offers opportunities for climbing over rocks, swimming in cool emerald pools, and diving into natural water holes. Locals describe Mibam as a rediscovered paradise.
The surrounding villages rely on agriculture, producing fruits with dates as a primary crop. On weekends, both amateur and professional hikers visit Mibam to enjoy its natural beauty, which is gaining recognition alongside Wadi Shab and Wadi Bani Khalid.
The tour includes a stop at Fins Beach, known as White Sands Beach. It features white sand, pebbly shores, turquoise waters, and a cool breeze.
Returning to Muscat, the tour stops at Bimmah Sinkhole, a water-filled limestone sinkhole about 50 by 70 meters wide and 20 meters deep. Located near the coastal towns of Dibab and Bimmah village, it is only 600 meters from the sea. Formed by limestone dissolution, the sinkhole is preserved within a local park. Swimming in its turquoise waters is permitted.
