Description
Depart Salalah and drive through the Qara Mountain range, enjoying panoramic views of the city. Visit the Lost City of Ubar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Entry to the archaeological site requires an optional entrance ticket. After exploring the site, continue to the Empty Quarter (Rab al Khali) to experience its vast sand dunes through driving and rambling.
Watch the sunset over the desert, then spend the night at a Bedouin camp. Enjoy star gazing and the desert night sky.
The next morning, wake up in the desert and have a traditional breakfast. Depart the desert and visit Wadi Dawkah, a natural park known for its frankincense trees, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before returning to Salalah.
