This full-day tour explores Wadi Shab’s waterfall cave, suitable for active travelers staying in Muscat or nearby.

Description

Departing from Muscat at 7:00 am, this tour includes hotel pickup within the city. Guests living outside Muscat should notify in advance for transfer arrangements. The drive to Wadi Shab takes approximately two hours, with a short break for Omani coffee at a local café.

At the Wadi Shab starting point, participants receive life jackets and waterproof phone cases and are advised to wear suitable shoes for walking and swimming. The adventure begins by crossing a small wadi by boat, followed by a walking and swimming route that lasts about an hour or more.

Along the way, guests observe traditional farming methods used by local Omani farmers. On reaching the cave area, there is a break for swimming near the waterfall and photo opportunities. The group then returns along the same path to the starting point.

After the hike, the tour visits a local restaurant for lunch (meal not included). The itinerary then continues along the coastal road to visit the Heart Shaped Cave and Pebble Beach for sightseeing and photos.

On the return to Muscat, there is a stop at Bimmah Sinkhole to view the blue pool, with swimming optional. The journey ends with traditional Omani tea at a local café before dropping participants back at their hotels within Muscat.
