Reviews
It's a welcoming place with courteous staff who are eager to help. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and well air-conditioned. One thing to consider is the checkout policy: checkout is at 2:00 PM, and for a late checkout, there's a fee of 10 OMR allowing access until 7:00 PM. It might be better to pay per hour for late checkout instead of a flat fee.
Based on my experience, the hotel had both positive and negative aspects. The property itself was decent, although I felt that the cleanliness could be improved. The towels provided in our room had marks that appeared to be stains, and I noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the carpeted flooring. One interaction at reception was less welcoming than I had expected. The staff member appeared to be trying to assist, but the communication style did not feel particularly customer-friendly from my perspective. The main issue during our stay related to the booking details. Our reservation included 7 guests, and the number of adults and children was provided during the booking process. However, upon arrival, meal arrangements appeared to have been made for only 4 people. It was not clear to me whether this resulted from the booking platform or the hotel’s reservation process, but I would recommend carefully reviewing and confirming all details directly with the hotel before arrival to avoid possible misunderstandings. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations, and personally I would choose a different property for a future visit.
The room is great, spacious, new , clean, with a lot a freebies. The team is super friendly and extremely helpful, The breakfast time is great, but the diversity is not that great, especially for hot food and coffee, having a coffee machine would be great. The location is bad without car. You need a taxi for everything, even the nearest and only shop is a market that a 7 min walk . internet is great.
Worth money. They gave discount too as stayed during week days. Clean and peaceful hotel. Mountain view. Good breakfast. Polite and flexible reception. I choose Almurroj for Jacuzzi but it was not switched on till 12pm. One star minus for the reason.
This hotel isn’t bad! I’m quite fussy with hotels and it took me a lot of research the eventually decide this one. I find the hotels in Muscat quite overpriced and lacking on room/service elements. This hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the Muttrah area which is the main tourist location. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfy, the AC works well. I’m not a fan of the bathroom, the drains are super clogged meaning the whole floor is wet after a shower. The bathroom also isn’t very clean. When we checked in, our soap, shampoo and shower gel were all empty aswell. The pool is lovely! Very clean, they have a hot and cold pool with a few sun loungers. There’s a few cafes, restaurants and shops nearby, I can recommend the Greenhouse Cafe & Restaurant. We ate here three times and it was delicious. Overall I liked this hotel, I do think it is over priced for the facilities and level of service you get. But this seems to be the norm in Muscat
