Had a wonderful stay at Misfah Old House. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The hospitality was excellent, and we felt well taken care of. The food was very good, with delicious lunch and dinner options available. Since the property is located within the old village, you need to park your car and walk a short distance, but the staff kindly assisted us with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. The entire village is beautiful, peaceful, and full of traditional charm. It’s a great place to experience authentic Omani culture and enjoy stunning surroundings.
A hidden jewel nestled gently within the embrace of the village — where the soft sparkle of flowing water and the evening symphony of frogs create a rhythm of their own. The guesthouse holds a quiet warmth, with welcoming rooms and a kindness that is felt as much as it is seen. We celebrated my husband’s birthday here, and the experience was touched with thoughtful gestures — from the delicious, nourishing food to the unexpected birthday cake that arrived like a small moment of magic. A place that feels both grounding and alive, we wholeheartedly recommend this sanctuary for couples and families seeking something a little more soulful.
Beautiful location, we had a tour around the village and the farm terraces, it was really worth it. Guest house is cosy and special. We really liked it here, the privet balcony to the plantation was very romantic. Oman feels perfectly safe.
Nice play to stay! The rooms are a bit basic, but comfortable. It feels like you are in the jungle and the scenery is beautiful. There is also a beautiful walking trail that starts from the hotel. The food and the service are good.
A serene atmosphere amidst a village, where you feel so close to nature thats the Misfah Old House. Enjoyed each n every moment of our wonderful stay there. Clean rooms, delicious food and remarkably excellent hospitality by the staff. Special mention to Mr.Suresh and his team (Kiran, Prasad) for their service, they just made the whole stay feel like a home away from home. Misfah old house simply stole our hearts and looking forward for our next trip there.
