The regional centre of Dakhliyyah, Nizwa is 2 hours drive from the capital city Muscat. The major attraction of Nizwa is the Nizwa Fort, which is said to be the oldest fort in Oman. Nizwa Souk too is a worth visiting place, where the visitors can shop all traditional items.
