Ras Al Hadd

Ras Al Hadd is also known as the “land of the rising sun in the Arab Peninsula.” Located 60 km from Sur, it is total five hours drive from Muscat, therefore a trip to Ras Al Hadd is planned for the weekends. The beaches are famous for the Green Turtles. This beach is also known as “Green Turtle Habitat.” The beach is best to visit during the June and July, when the turtles come to lay their eggs. The view is simply breathtaking. This is the best place to go for snorkeling and diving, as this is a key spot in Oman to see turtles, moray eels and a wide variety of colourful fish.
