We had visited this place last month for the first time. Great service and even greater food for a reasonable price. The Kerala style chicken leghorn biryani was well done and was excellent with mutton roast. For the finishing touch we had amazing vermicelli payasam. Worth it.
Good Kerala , especially malabar touch food Biryani ,Tea, Beef, Chicken items ,appam with Bullseye taste good, will not disappoint you that's for sure, above average pricing, good service, more dine in options available, parking is hectic, very congested parking,
One of my regular spot . Tea is recommended if you are a fan of Samovar Tea also Kerala snacks . So far never disappointed 🙌🏻🙌🏻
This authentic Kerala restaurant and staff are friendly and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. We tried the dragon chicken starter and the fish mango gravy curry—both were decent in taste. Overall, it’s a good place to experience Kerala cuisine at an affordable price.
30 January 2026 We visited this restaurant for dinner for the first time, and it was a nice experience. We ordered the fish mango curry, which was absolutely awesome! It pairs beautifully with appam, porotta, puttu, or even ghee rice, it’s truly delicious. The dining area is okay, though a little congested, but the atmosphere is comfortable enough. What really stood out was the staff they were very helpful and friendly. First review on 5 months back😕 After reading numerous positive reviews, we were excited to try the beef dum biriyani at Kozhikodens. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype. We ordered two portions, but the quantity of beef was surprisingly small for the price. One portion even contained mostly beef scraps rather than proper cuts. Additionally, the rice was undercooked, which affected the overall taste and texture of the dish. We genuinely hope this was a one off experience and that the restaurant takes this feedback constructively. Looking forward to a better experience next time.
