I spent 2 nights early February 2026 and honestly everything was so perfect. Front desk and the Egyptian manager Hakim were the nicest and helped me with all my questions. Location and view were the best. The rooftop had a nice seating to just chill with the view. You literally just go down the stairs to go to Souq Mutrah.
Cozy little hotel. Very clean. The staff is super welcoming and the view from the rooftop is great. You can’t be much closer to the souq. You can hear some noise at night, but it might be because we stayed there on a Thursday. Parking is limited, so try to get there early. You can also park at the tourism hub next to the roundabout.
We arrived in Muscat early in the morning by plane, and this was our first accommodation in the city. The location is excellent—if you would like to explore Muttrah, this place is perfect. Because we miscalculated the booking dates and the room was only available from 2 p.m., the staff kindly allowed us to use the rooftop terrace, where we could rest and also leave our luggage. The receptionist (unfortunately, I forgot her name) was incredibly kind and helpful and did everything she could to help us get the room earlier so we could rest. There was a small misunderstanding regarding parking, as it was not possible to park directly in front of the accommodation, but they helped us with that as well. Parking has to be paid separately at the property—this was the only thing that was not clear at the beginning. The room was fully equipped with high-quality amenities, quiet, small, and cozy. We felt very comfortable during our stay. The instant coffee was actually one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel—I hope it’s possible to buy it somewhere 😄 (I couldn’t find it in Oman, even though I looked for it throughout our trip 😄). I highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in this part of Muscat.
