Salalah

Salalah is the most captivating tourist destination of the Sultanate of Oman. It stands as a sharp contrast to the scorching desert heat and barren desert land of the Arabia.

Salalah is the second largest city of Oman after Muscat. Salalah is about 1100 km from the capital city of Muscat. It covers a distance of twelve hours by car or bus and one hour by flight.

Famous for its lush green mountains, the place attracts tourist from all over throughout the year. This region of the country enjoys a tropical climate throughout the year. June to August is known as the Khareef season. As nature's bounty fills up the mountain's lap, tourists from all across flocks to enjoy the spirit of this festival. With mist shrouded mountain, the flowing wadis and fresh air Salalah is tourist's paradise.

Apart from the enchanting green mountains, Salalah beaches and coastlines are also a source of major attraction. Beaches like Shati al Hafa, Al Balid, Khandaq, Dahariz beckons the visitor each time they visit.
